This farm has been in the Henson/Ellison family since the late 1800s. After our Aunt Margie passed away in 2019 the family purchased the farm from her estate.  When we were looking over the property, we found the cemetery and noticed that a Revolutionary Soldier was buried in the cemetery along with his family. As US military veterans it sadden our heart to see this hero final resting place in this state of repairs. We have made it our mission to restore the cemetery and provide the proper respect to the families.  

Challenge

Decades of neglected has left the cemetery in bad shape. With headstone knocked over and the fence broken in many places. The background picture is a aerial view of the cemetery in it's current state.
